Community Involvement
Being of service and creating an environment where people can thrive is at the heart of what we do and who we are. We are honored to put our time, talent, and financial resources to the service of our community. You can find our team members handing out water to runners at half marathons and 5Ks, or encouraging participants as they walk for a special cause like the American Heart Association. Our entire team participates in our annual Vans4Cans program, a food drive that allows us to partner with our customers to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank and the thousands of people it serves. We work here, we live here, and our goal is to make a meaningful contribution to the people and the communities around us.

Among our many recognitions, Lee Company received the 2017 Contractor of the Year award from the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. Most recently, The Tennessean newspaper placed Lee Company in its Top Workplaces Hall of Fame, as we were honored for the fourth time.

2017 ACCA Residential Contractor of the Year. “Each year many of the best residential contractors in the industry apply for this award, and share the unique business practices that make them so successful,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president and CEO. “It is always a difficult decision for our panel of judges to choose who they consider the ‘best of the best’ from the group. Lee Company, is an extremely deserving company that truly exemplifies the qualities that all of the best companies in the industry share.”
ABC Excellence in Construction. The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) chapters in Greater Tennessee and North Alabama announced their 2018 Excellence in Construction winners – and Lee Company took home 17 awards! Winners are chosen by a panel of construction experts, based on project scope, safety records, innovation, quality control, scheduling, value provided and the contractor’s ability to overcome special obstacles and extenuating circumstances. Basically, exactly what you consider when choosing a contractor.
2015 Torch Award for Ethical Commerce from the Middle Tennessee BBB. Ethics matter at Lee Company. They always have and always will. This award is designed to promote the importance of ethical business practices, and the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses demonstrating a solid commitment to marketplace trust.
2014 AGC Subcontractor of the Year. Our team was recognized by Associated General Contractors of America in the $1 – $2 million category for the Horrell Residence Hall Project at Belmont University. In addition, we received the Innovator of Safety award. This award is granted to companies that have demonstrated commitment, active employee participation, outstanding safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.
