At Lee Company, our mission is to honor God by serving people with respect, integrity, and compassion. We believe giving is an essential ingredient of faith. Jesus taught that putting our resources to good use for our neighbors is just one way we can honor Him.

Our Three Areas of Great Need

Health and Wellbeing

Here are a few of the nonprofits we support and the positive impact they have on our neighborhoods.

Our focus is on three main areas of great impact – food insecurity, second chances, and health & wellbeing. By partnering with organizations in these categories, our goal is to connect our employees, our customers, and the people living in our communities toward a common purpose.

Food Insecurity

Each year, 44 million Americans, including 13 million children, face the uncertainty of not knowing where their next meal will come from.

Partnering with local food banks like Second Harvest Food Bank, Food Bank of North Alabama, Chattanooga Area Food Bank, and Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland, alongside distribution centers like One Generation Away, fights this issue facing our communities. These organizations provide food for our neighbors so they don’t have to choose between paying their bills or putting food on the table.

Second Chances

With 98% of people being released after incarceration, supporting their reintegration is critical.

By partnering with organizations like Men of Valor, the cycle is broken. Their mentorship and ministry programs, including discipleship in prisons and jails, have successfully lowered recidivism rates to below 15%, providing crucial aftercare and re-entry support.

Health & Wellbeing

Health and wellbeing are essential for quality life. Wellness organizations offer opportunities for those facing physical, mental, and emotional health challenges.

Justice & Mercy International brings aid to thousands of the world’s poor, vulnerable, and forgotten, through child sponsorships in Brazil and Moldova.

Special Olympics empowers millions of individuals with intellectual disabilities as they demonstrate courage by practicing physical fitness.

The American Heart Association provides vital education and resources surrounding heart health to combat the #1 killer worldwide.

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

– Matthew 25:40
