The J.M. Smucker Co. was in a crunch when the rooftop air handling units began to fail at their plant in Scottsville, Kentucky. The plant makes the popular Uncrustables® thaw-and-serve peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and Smucker Co. needed a time-sensitive solution to minimize disruption to the production schedule. Lee Company used state-of-the-art fabrication shop capabilities to design, engineer and pre-assemble materials; the field team leveraged scheduling and on-site equipment to install two hundred tons of chillers and air handler equipment in just five days. A customized solution and on-site expertise: they go together like PB&J.
