The 198,000-square-foot Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine is the first medical school in Nashville since 1876. The project started in April of 2022, wrapping up in March of 2024. Lee Company, serving Belmont for 15+ years, is honored to be part of literally building a legacy. This state-of-the-art college and comprehensive simulation center welcomed its inaugural class in July 2024.

Lee Company was tasked with installing chilled water air handler units, DOAS systems, hot water variable air volume units, dewatering pumps, and simulated med gas.

Scope of Work:

  • Installed nine chilled water air handling units, along with two chillers.
  • Installed one DOAS for the cadaver lab.
  • Installed chilled water VAV system with hot water reheat.
  • Installed and connected plumbing systems, including the domestic water, sanitary waste, and dewatering pumps.
  • Installed simulated oxygen, vacuum and simulated med gas systems.
