We love our communities. It goes back to the heart of our mission: creating a place where our employees can thrive, and our communities can thrive. From handing out water at a heart walk to sorting food at a local food bank to cheering people on for the last mile of their half marathon: all of it matters. Making a difference in the lives of the people we serve while impacting the communities we give back to makes us thrive.
Below are highlights from a few events we were proud to support last month:
BG Christmas Parade: While we drove one of our Lee Company trucks in the parade that was decked out with Christmas lights and presents, the snowman on top waved to the crowd! We also handed out candy to the parade-goers.
Hendersonville Christmas Parade: We had two of our Lee Company box trucks in the parade as we walked alongside and handed out candy to the families lining the streets.
Cookeville Christmas Parade: Not only did we have one of our Lee Company trucks decorated with Christmas lights and garland, but we also towed a trailer with a float this year! We put on our Santa hats and handed out candy to the crowd.
Santa Paws: This 2-night event at the Mall at Green Hills was as popular as ever. Families arrived to have their family pet photos taken with Santa. We had Lee Company goodies and dog treats to hand out, and this year we had a craft area for kids and a hot chocolate station! We also had a fun selfie frame people used with their four-legged family members!
Bridge Street Town Centre: All eyes were on the big tree as it lit up the night sky at this first annual tree lighting ceremony we were proud to sponsor. Our team gave out Lee Company goodies from our booth and walked through the thousands of attendees handing out glow bracelets to the kids!
Franktown Festival of Lights: Our support for this event continues to grow. This year we sponsored Santa’s Village, including photos with Santa, yummy treats to eat, a Ferris wheel, and a petting zoo! We spoke at the event and shared how we love supporting their mission which benefits children in our communities.
Giving back is not tied to a season. It’s tied to our mission. Here are some events we’re excited about supporting this year:
Mule Day: We’re looking forward to sponsoring this week-long event in Columbia. There will be arts, and crafts, a flea market, line dancing, food, music, and a parade downtown! Stop by our booth and say hello!
Moosic City DairyPure Dash: Who doesn’t love ice cream at the end of an event? Thanks to Purity Dairies and their dedication to local non-profits, this race has become a staple in the community and one we look forward to supporting every year. We are on hand to pass out medals to the “Lee Company Glenn Wunder Mighty Mile” finishers and love sharing with the community how we can be of service when they stop by our booth.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your schools, events, and communities. We can’t wait to see what additional opportunities come our way in 2020. If you hear of something you think we’d be interested in sponsoring, please send the information to info@leecompany.com.
